I can take action to improve the water cycle in Canterbury
In this project I was working with Jade and Brooke, and we decided to create a TV ad.
In this project we decided that our success criteria were: Here is the link to our slide show
Overall, our project did not meet this criteria, because we did not meet the deadline. WHY? Because we were off task.

Koru Games
The activity I did was Volleyball
Two Highlights for me are....
1. Coming 7th out of 22 teams because that is a good achievement.
2. Doing my best because I think I did well.
I am proud of: My team and myself for doing a good job.
Next year I will do Volleyball and Netball for my second choice.

I can describe the structure of a Short Story
Something I have learned about the structure of short stories is: that it has a setting, problem, feelings, action and who was in the story.
After reading some short stories two things I will remember when I write my own short story are that I will have my problem straight away and my problem can be a good or bad thing.

apply the techniques of improvisation to a range of different scenarios.
Improvisation techniques that I have used successfully are, always so "yes "
Improvisation techniques that I would like to have more practice at alphabet and one brain
.
The thing that I enjoyed most about this unit of learning was Name rap because we went in a three and tried to make a rap on a name.
The thing that I found most challenging during this unit of learning was alphabet because it toke me for ever to think of what to say.
My favourite improv game was name rap because it was really challenging and fun and know I can rap with using names.
My next step/ something I need to work on further in improvisation is because I need to think and practice what i'm saying.

Term 1 Integrated Learning - Leadership
We have been learning all about What makes a good leader.
We identified that good leaders show 6 main character traits. These are Integrity, Trustworthy, Resilient, Goal Focused, Active Thinker, Motivational.
The leadership trait that I think I show the most is Motivational because I have been giving my friends some ideas on learning and other things to get what they need done.
The leadership trait I would most like to develop is goal focused because I need to learn to get my work completed on time without getting distracted.
Something NEW I have learned about leadership is the skill of being able to motivate people/ teams to work towards a goal.
The SOLO level that I reached during this unit of learning is Relational because I am able to compare and contrast the traits of different leaders.

Peer Mediation Merit blog post 2
On Tuesday the 12th I had Peer Mediation with Zainab and we had 1 problem we tried to solve the problem with the people involved in the problem but it was hard to solve because some of the people were running away from me and Zainab, so we told a teacher and they said we can't solve it so we went and told the teacher of the students that were involved and the teacher solved it and then everyone had a fantastic day.
My leadership quality / CARE value was active thinking because I thought about when my duty was, also I was looking at the time so as soon as it was 10 past 1 I would find who I was doing it with and get on with my duty.

My Strengths for the games / game is To always keep my eye on the ball and stand side on
The striking strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the game we played were i always keeped my eye on the ball
The throwing and catching strategies I was able to effectively demonstrate during the games we played were i was able to keep my hands soft because i could get lots of people out in the other team
My Next Steps are to keep my hands in a cup and stand side wards to get my balance
To improve my striking of a ball I need to stand on a bit of a slop because it gives me / you balance so then you can get a good throw and will go far
To Improve my catching and fielding I need to use a soft hand and make sure my
hands are together and in a cup because if my hands are flat and and hard the ball will bounce off Thursday, 31 March 2016
